I'll be that guy.
This shite is fantastic. Took over a few of the gyms in my area. I've held onto one for 3 days now. My roommates are helping keep it secured.
Don't have anything really high level yet. I think my highest is a 680 Jolteon.
For those that don't know btw, you can force eevee evolutions. Name your eevee one of the following before evolving it and it will change to the right one. You can change the name back afterwards.
Pyro=Flareon
Rainer=Vaporeon
Sparky=Jolteon

While I think Pokemon GO is a good game, I think Donkey Kong is the best ga,e of all time.

I loved the shite out of all 3 Donkey Kong countries for the sNES and DK64 for the N64. I'm not even mad at that Kanye hijack

DKC2 is one of the most atmospheric 2D platformers ever imo. The music and art design was on point in that series.

I don't get this game (someone explain it for us laymen), have more the enough stuff to do than chase invisible critters and quite frankly am feeling really old

There's not really much to it. You catch Pokemon. Higher level you are, the better you'll get.
You get items from shops and battle at gyms (usually churches and restaurants).
There are 3 factions that you choose at level 5. Valor (red), Mystic (blue), and Instinct (yellow). If you take over a gym, the gym changes to the color of your team, and others from the same team can help defend it. You basically just leave Pokemon there.
Other than that, it's not much. They're going to add trading and battling with friends supposedly.

Why the downvote? My windows phone is a complete joke and I look like such an a-hole when I pull it out to take pictures in the gym.

It's a long voyage to try to catch all of the pokemon. Along your jounrey, you try to make a name for yourself by battling other pokemon trainers. While the ultimate objective is to just find them all, you also try to train up your best ones so you can kick arse and impress the world.

I enjoy it when I'm able to get on the servers for a decent amount of time. I don't know that I'll ever get to battle though. I'm on Level 6 but it seems every gym I go by has 600-700 Pokemon.
