El Dorado,AR- doesn't rhyme with Colorado , pronounced El Der AY DO.
AR- it's not AK, it's AR, AK is Alaska
AR-Kansas- looking at you Les Miles

after living in AK for many years, this is a real thing. Had to correct more than a few folks when doing business over the phone.

Don't insult the people of southeast Newton Co. by pronouncing Mt. Judea in the biblical sense like I did. It's Mount Judy.

I'm no longer in Georgia but i was born and raised in Norman Park, Ga.

One that always bothered me is Albany.

We all call it ALLBENNY

Apparently it was supposed to be called Arad, named after the founder's son, but the US Postal Service misspelled it.

and there’s no fugging way I could explain it.
