Any recommendations?

We already like:

1. The Original Point with Bubba & 'em playin' Bluegrass

2. Shrimp Basket

3. The Original Oyster House (& the Mobile location)

Original Point is awesome. Grew up going there.

Cobalt is great but prepare for a crowd.

There's a new sushi place in Orange Beach called Master Joe's. The one in Fairhope is top notch. Not lying, its the best sushi I've ever had and in my legit Top favorite restaurants...and I'm not a huge sushi guy.

Lillian's for pizza. Hub Stacys and the Reef are also awesome.

Thanks, gents.

We like Lulu's, too; bit of a tourist trap, but best crabclaws.

Fishermans Corner. As soon as you cross the inter coastal bridge make a hard left. It is under the bridge.

They have a great menu. My favorite place to eat in Perdido.

Gulf Shores Steamer

Ironically, now located in Orange Beach just before you get to Alabama point.

Get a steamed platter.

You can thank me later.

Thanks, but no fried means one of my twins would go hungry; I refuse to buy a hot dog from a restaurant...

the other one loves grilled shrimp...

I went there for vacation in college once. I can't remember the name of the place but there's a sushi restaurant with amazing food. They advertise their martinis as the best in Florida. I didn't have any martinis, but the karaoke there was pretty fun.

Also an amazing New York pizza place.

The Oyster Bar under the bridge at Perdido Pass.

IMO the best food in the area.

It's the best sushi I've had on the Gulf Coast. I've eaten at one or two places in Atlanta that have better, but not by much. Prices at Master Joe's is very reasonable for what you get.

Debbie Flott, the original owner, got shot in a bad drug deal a few years ago. Her daughter took over, then eventually sold to eddie spence(owner of mikees, shrimp basket, ribs and reds, etc....) They are still in the original location behind souvenir city. Flott's daughter opened an identical restaurant in orange beach despite selling all the rights to it. There is a bit of a fight going on about it.

As to the OP, including OB and GS, Fishers upstairs, the gulf, mikees, Tin Top, Kity's(Breakfast/Brunch), Brick & Spoon(breakfast/brunch), florabama yacht club, to name a few. You could head over to the wharf as well. Few decent ones over there.

Snapper season starts this weekend and state waters have been moved to 9 miles
