Aren't you taller than me, tho?

I mean, I'd love to have fouled him at least but when he's taking off from the free throw line over my 5'11" frame all I could do was just grab a seat and watch the airshow

Not taller, but certainly more of a coward.

Not gonna let him dunk on me, but only because I got out of the way.

All's clear on this side of the world, my plans for President of Mexico are coming swimmingly. How have you been? I think I read you were looking for work?

Other than still not being able to sleep most of the night, I'm ok. On terminal leave right now and hopefully getting some sleep aid meds soon.

Have a job interview in San Antonio on Friday I'm getting flown down for. Trying not to get ahead of myself, but it looks promising.

Yeah it's gonna be hell getting back on schedule. I don't know if I generally like sleeping late, or if I'm still screwed up from pulling mids for a few years.

Good luck with the sleep medication, just be careful with it.

Good luck, man. I hope you get it, I know you'd dig the location, too. Hope you and the missus are doing well, but I have to finish writing an exam. (I Just came to hijack this thread for a few minutes.)

Be good.

I've posted my HST encounter ...

Talked with Quincy Jones for an hour by phone.

Briefly dated Jimmy Carter's niece

My mom was good friends with Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart.

Related to Walt Disney by marriage.

One time I'm standing there waiting to use a pay phone and this guy on the phone turns around and tips his hat. Who do you think that guy was? Emilio Estevez! The Mighty Ducks man, I swear to God! I was like "Emilio!!!"

Several years ago some friends and I were in Los Angeles for the E3 gaming industry trade show. We went up to Santa Monica for dinner one night at a local italian restaurant. We were standing in line to go in, as the place was popular and small, when we heard an explosion. All power went out for a city block.

Turned out a transformer blew up. Proprietor of the restaurant figured he still had gas ovens and stove, so he could keep cooking and quickly moved everybody to group tables and served family style. Tables lit by candle light.

Buds and I wound up sitting next to Ben Stiller and Janine Garafalo. Very normal people. Was kind of cool because of the circumstances.

I also went to HS with Hank Aarons kids. (Henry and Larry) who were a grade or two ahead of me. Used to see Hank at school sports events regularly.

Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts is my cousin. We get back stage passes every time they play in Little Rock.

Grew up a 5 mile small town over from Roy Oswalt. We were lined up to drag race trucks one night, arms dropped, he was so drunk he had left his truck in reverse from a burnout so he shot backwards as I went the correct direction..

I thought I was killing him out of the hole.

He was a laid back guy, I've had a couple of conversations with him. It's a shame he couldn't shake his demons I miss his music.
