I will say the atmosphere at Kyle >>>> the atmosphere at DKR

If you don't think that the very mention of College Station (also known as Malfunction Junction) evokes images of nutgrabbing stupidity to everyone outside the cult, I can't help you.

You do realize I don't live in College Station, correct?

And damn right we're a cult

To be fair, many high schools across the country have a better atmosphere

Well very few native Austinites. I have met some refugees from Dallas and Houston but most of them came here for a reason.

They are getting a torchy's in the stadium this year though so I'll give them props on that.

Well, one stadium's fans shake the stands, and the other stadium has earned the nickname of "The Library" by the home players, so that's kind of a "duh"

Thanks, but that means nuthin.
DKRTMS is probably the least enjoyable game day experience of all Division I universities.

is it poor taste to root for texas to win and then for the whole team to get mono or the flu on the bus ride home?

I'm pulling for a sinkhole to swallow them both. I guess, I actually dislike Texas less than I dislike ND...but it's close. Pulling for either of them is good prep for voting for President next year. Least-worst option.

A representative of your new daddy, Alabama, said it earlier: the name TEXAS and NOTRE DAME on the jerseys, the burnt orange and green and gold, the Horn silhouette versus Touchdown Jesus, stirs national appeal.

Something you do not have.

I almost wish you were a real regular on here so I could bump this thread after the season when we have a game (probably more than one) rated higher than your "national appeal" game.

Texas winning would be great, because it would frick up ND's season. Texas will lose 5+ games this year anyway.

my thoughts exactly
