Daytime temps were forecast to be in the 70s about a week a go, but Monday's high got into the 90s. Are we getting a fall this year? Would sure hate to take my annual fall foilage photos in a tank top

I live in Alabama. I am used to not having a fall.

Seems like almost every year it's 80s-90s until mid October and then bam, one day it's 50s and colder from then on out.

We didn't have much of summer either. I don't remember it getting into the 100s at all this summer.

I would take mid 80s - Low 90s all year round if I could

It's coming. Might be a week. First real cold air is filtering into the Arctic now.

Not for another couple of weeks anyway. The 8-14 day temperature forecast shows above average temps for everywhere east of the Rockies.

I live in GA, which is pretty close AL, and Fall is the best season. It's been hot as hell this year. Sucks.

15 days out and it shows a high of 79 on a single day, otherwise all 80's. So maybe November?

I live in Kentucky where we have had a very wet hot and cool Summer, then two weeks of cool wet Fall in September, then 18 days of dry hot Fall and now we're having wet, hot Fall. If you don't like the weather here just wait a little while. It'll change.

It has been a hot, dry fall so far here in Arkansas. But, we did have a cool front move through today that has dropped the temperature and humidity. The low tonight is supposed to be 49 (compared to 72 this morning). Sadly, no rain. We sure need some.

Beautiful fall morning today, temps in the mid 30's, some patchy fog. Early sun streaming into the Mendenhall Valley.

I was standing on a bridge over a glacial river and the sun started streaming over the mountains. Just a nice moment.
