You into gay bands? Not judging, just asking.

.... COOL

Not mine. I still like AC/DC, OZZY and a few 40-70 more bands myself before NB.

Bands featured a number of horns, woodwinds and brass players, that often times contained anywhere from 12 to 25 members playing.

EWF Live!

Does Nickleback have brass? If not, they do not count.

Thank you for condemning Nickelback to the musical doom they so richly deserve.

Somebody already said Creed.

I'll go 311.

Music and Grassroots are great. All that crap after they sold out are garbage.

Can you please post a link to an example of a good 311 song? I promise to give it an objective listen.

Can you narrow it down to two? Compromise?

Just check out the first 2. Fat Chance starts with a little reggae sort of style then goes into a little more hard stuff. Just listen until they say frick the bullshite it's time to throw down.

The first two albums are sort of a mix of reggae, ska, rock/alternative and rap. The albums after that are all mainstream pop nonsense to make money.

I gave the first two songs a fair listen. I think the musicianship is really good, it's the vocals that frick the whole thing up.

Summary:

311 is in the same category as nickleback and creed. At least nickelback has a cool band name.

I think Creed is a talented band. It's just not for me. I feel the same way about U2. Nickleback is just garbage imo.

That song Iis catchy, but it's not something I'm going out of my way to listen to. It's more a mainstream thing to me.

Little known fact that might change your mind- that hit was the original demo tape recording before they had a record deal. When they got a record deal the producer said just put the demo out, no need to re-record it. That's why it sounds kind of cheap and unproduced. But awesome and unpolished.
