I guess it would be good for shallow, kindergarten, baby Christians.

This constitutes what, 70% of the Christians in America?

Seems like tapping into that market could be financially fruitful.

That's probably a conservative estimate according to some. I know some hardcore southern Baptists who think there are like 400 people in Heaven and half of them were part of their congregation

Maybe some naked Eve action in there. Or some action from the Ark for the real kinksters.

I reckin that's the reason they're doing it.

Lots of money to be made in religion.

Nice quotes i like those and gave you an upvote. Its good general knowledge that can be applied to lots of things. Like those nursing off Feaux News to tell them what to think instead of educating themselves on the history of subjects from all perspectives involved. Teach a man to fish...

Not sure perhaps one of the non kindergarten board Christians can answer that. With the constant evolving literal beliefs of the bible its tough to keep up to date on what is currently considered fact and what is just metaphor. Depends on how far science and historians have exposed its errors and of course what the status is on on our ever changing societys norms. Whats great about this new Mans bible is it keeps it hip and cool. I just want mine in electronic form so its easier to edit going forward.

Ha.

Honest question for those of you who attend church regularly. Standing there while some ****y metro sexual whines out contempo Christian hipster music, lights, smoke, etc...

How do you not feel totally emasculated?

I think the faith isn't what it was in the past. I'm not anti-Christian, and I've tried a few times to get into going to service regularly. Its just the most cringe-worthy thing I can imagine every time I go.

Explain to me how you tolerate attending a modern American church. I'm not being snarky, I'm genuinely interested what you get out of it.

There are many different types of church services?

I just attend the ones that interest me. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to worship style.

I guess that's legit. I've never been to anything but Protestant services and they all have fit the description in my previous post.

Maybe orthodox or catholic would be better.
