This:

Serves a lot of rolls.

-Backup power for your phone or tablet
-Travel router. Just plug into hotel's wired internet and not have to frick with having 8000 different hotel WiFi profiles on your phone, tablet, or computer
-Wireless access to micro SD card or USB drives. I'll store gigs and gigs of movies and stuff on a 128gig thumb drive and play them on my iPad or phone from this. Keeps the "R-Rated" stuff off your phone or tablet where someone might stumble across it by accident.

yup yup.

i do about 75-100 nights a year in a hotel and am on the road at least 175-200 and that's pretty spot on.

i'll add pick your hotel and points wisely. if the company's paying, hilton and ihg (holiday inns) have an option for like 5 bucks to double your points.

Yeah I've been a Hilton guy for the past 4 years cause the areas I was traveling had better options. Thinking about switching to Marriott because I heard their points go farther when using them for stays. Paying for family vacations with reward points is one perk for being gone so much.

Yep my company puts me up in LaQuinta most of the time (don't judge most small towns don't have anything nicer) and I get all my and two of my crews rooms reward points. Makes it nice when you want to get away for a weekend with the s/o and can do it for free.

Hotel gyms suck. If you are into staying in shape i would figure out some routines you can do in your room to help you get by. I would run outside and then come back and do a lot of core exercises then maximize in the gym when i get home with weight lifting. Im sure there are p90x and other likewise programs you can play from your computer. If you dont stay active you will put on a lot of weight quickly from all of the driving, hotel lounging, and eating out all the time.

Condoms and internet access so you can get on backpage when you're at the hotel.

Yeah I have a lot of Choice hotel points for that reason.

My boss is too technology ignorant to book hotels so I do it for him and collect points.

Took me several years to finally realize a great investment was dollar store night lights. Helped me find the bath room
without tripping over or bumping into things.

Get cheap ones so you don't care if you forget them in the room.
