I was JUST thinking the same thing. Not even on a Sunday.

It's got me scrolling through my library.

'Lecrae - Hallelujah' is sick

In terms of lyrics and overall feel of the song, Lecrae - Rejects is just flat out nasty. This is the feel that Lecrae has started leaning to that I absolutely love. He's best when he goes in hard and gritty like that, IMO. "They want inherited wealth, so I'm givin' em the business!" GOOD LORD that line is disgusting.

I work nights, so I'm usually up at this time anyways Almost lunch time for me

What thermo you taking? I never have taken supplements, but I'm about to start soon. Trying to do some research on GNC's website. RippedFreak, ThermoDetonator, and JetFuel all have good reviews.....

I'm up on pure willpower. No reason for me to be in bed right now so it's w/e. That on top of the fact that I could talk about this genre for days.

GNC Ripped Vitapak... There's like 7 pills in it but only one is the actual thermo, the rest are fatty acids and water absorbers with something else that give you a very complete package

But damn this thermo hit me like a train... Been thru two bottles of hydroxycut hardcore but it didn't do me like this... And zero jitters which I like

Also think about stacking it with some hydrolyzed whey protein for a post workout and some flaxseed supplements.. Just a thought

Ah man, me too. Just so happens I was building a new playlist for wifey tonight anyway (been putting it off for forever). She listens to K-Love all the time now but is still kinda wet behind the ears when it comes to the genre. It's been fun to rediscover stuff with her, you know?

Ha I'm actually excited someone else knows of this genre... Used to be the only music I listened to... And you best believe I knew AND COULD RAP every single Lecrae line... Yeah I was that guy... That white dude that tries to rap and sounds like an idiot but hits every word...

Go hard, or go home

Ah ok gotcha.

Yeah I'm at a point right now where I'm as strong as I care to be for the military and in general, just looking to cut a little without losing muscle mass so I can look better in a swimsuit next to bikini-clad Mrs. T That girl puts in WORK. I'm trying to bounce back from surgery at the moment, but I'm ready to kick it into the next gear before summer hits.

Like I said in my edit... Think about some flaxseed if you're just wanting to cut...

That and a lot of broccoli (takes more calories to metabolize than it actually gives you)

Immediately thought of that guy from We're The Millers doing the rap from "Waterfalls"

Couldn't help it!

Damn right! My Arkansas accent will never allow me to have the sound to spit, but that won't stop me from having the flow down perfectly.

ETA: I gave up trying to keep up with Canon after this, though. Homeboy crushed my dreams with that one.

I had an experience like that about a week ago. Something from middle school came on Pandora. I think it was some old Breaking Benjamin or Crossfade or something. Started listening to all of the stuff I listened to back 7-8 years ago. Wondering why I ever stopped.

Haha exactly... Instead if TLC, it's Lecrae and Eminem haha

But sounding like a total southerner makes my black friends flip out when I kill an Eminem line... For example his verse in Forever...

I swear my friend Rubin bout pooped himself when I hit every word

Hey, we do what we can, right? I don't have an accent, but I "sound white," according to pretty much everyone who's heard my diction Doesn't lend itself to that authentic rap sound very well, either

I can hit every word in his verse in Drop The World right fricking now. My friends actually recorded me doing it one night and put it on facebook years ago. That was the night I realized I sound awful rapping. Too bad I realized it along with about 300 other people.

shite, I was laying down that verse just today in the gym

Usually catch myself singing to myself while I'm shooting free throws--kinda have the reputation for being "that" guy among the old folks who walk around the track upstairs while I'm spitting (or whatever passes for spitting when it comes to me )

You just can't even mess with it. That's one of the first tracks I go to when I'm making my case that Christian rap could very easily hold its own in terms of skill. It's not even like he cheated either. He was spitting HARD words. Not little one and two syllable words over and over. Just off the top of my head I heard theological and philosophical. Nuts.
