I've learned quite a few weird things on here. My life has been enriched by all the knowledge and trolling.

Yeah I'm pretty surprised Louisiana isn't France. I figured that was a slam dunk

I have an Ireland kit and I live in TX but apparently I'm outnumbered. I was hoping Illinois or Massachusetts would be repping the Irish but I guess not, doesn't help that they're terrible

I don't think I've ever met a Brazilian here in Nevada. Yet, there's a ton of Mexicans. I'm pretty surprised.

Then again, since we have zero pro teams, this is a state of bandwagon fans, so I guess it makes sense.

ETA: Actually read the OP. I'm a dummy.

I like Mexican people but they celebrated in Houston when Spain won in 2010. So they are quite bandwagonish. I mean that's ridiculous, that would be like us celebrating if England won

It's actually a good point. I'd think places with a shitload of English heritage people (like the aforementioned West Virginia) would have gone with England.

It's such a new sport in the states, I'd guess it's all bandwagon as hell. Missouri being Germany doesn't surprise me at all though.

I did the same thing, the image excludes the US and Mejico.

Yeah Texas being Germany makes a lot of sense. I figured it would be that or possibly Spain.

I always think it's cool when other countries use what we see as random arse colors for a reason. It makes me feel like I'm cool for knowing something and kind of sad that we don't have some cool national color that could kind of band us together.

It's why I've always dug the neon green thing in Seattle. You see someone wearing that color in the wild and there's a good change they're from Seattle. It's just kind of cool.

Dude, those thigh-high socks the Brazilians wear are ridiculous. They look like they're about to hit up a tranny club after the game.

England sucks. That's most likely why.

Well, apart from USA, I like Germany. The few times I've seen their International Team play, I've been very impressed with their poise, ball-handling, and perfectly-timed all-out aggressiveness. To me, their team is the complete package. While they dont have the finesse of Spain, they make up for it in pure skill.

Fun fact: when rommel surrendered in africa per geneva convention rules you have to send captured troops to a climate similar to where they were caught. So they thought what state is like Africa? Thus, 30,000 troops got sent to Texas (mostly just outside of college station near Hearne, TX). When the war ended they just opened the gates to the prison camps and told em to do whatever they wanted but they couldn't stay there. This is one of the reasons why Texas has so many small German towns as most of them settled and made small German farming towns.
