Ranked by Most Guns Per 1000 People. (# is National Ranking.)

#3 Arkansas
#7 Alabama
#10 Louisiana
#13 Georgia
#16 Kentucky
#18 Texas
#21 South Carolina
#25 Tennessee
#30 Florida

(is there anything Mississippi isn't "LAST" in when it comes to rankings in the SEC?)

Texas has a lot of liberals. Austin is very similar to a town in California.

This is actually surprising. I thought The Sip would be a lot higher.

List is really misleading. It bases its ranking on the number of registered firearms per 1,000 residents and most Southern states do not require firearms to be registered.

Hilarious that DC and Viginia are higher on that list than almost all southern states, yet it is people living in those areas who are constantly talking about gun control and gun free zones.

Which is funny, because it actually doesn't matter. At all.

If you get across the fence with your contraband you are an immigrant.

With just the clothes on your back, illegal alien.

Almost like crossing into California from Kansas during the dust bowl days.

edit- somebody is down-voting every post in this thread. You can't get shot thru the interweb.

Narrow that down to "handguns" and see whos who. Hunting rifles excluded.

2nd amendment and gun rights are infinitely more important than recruiting rankings and AP Poll "championships" in some silly game.

That's only for those foolish enough to register all their guns.

No way Mississippi is that far down. Everyone here owns guns, heck most people own many guns.
