You asked for it, here it is. I don't care much about this topic. It doesn't have the anger that abortion elicits or the PCness of homosexuality but those few who want to dictate that animals be kept off the menu are an interesting lot.

Fact: your molars are made for chewing, yes. But your canines and incisors are made for ripping and tearing. Like meat. We are designed that way.

Are chickens, cows, and pigs kept in unsanitary living conditions? Sometimes.

Ugh. Someone else take hold of this thing. Wasn't it Catfan who wanted this topic?
