Mama Goldbergs is garbage. It didn't last 6 months in Baton Rouge.

The only mama G's that is good is the original. Even the second one on campaus sucks imo. The one in Huntsville is a piece of shite.

I don't even like the original's food. But I bought a lot of cheap pitchers in that place or on the patio, played a lot of pool, and saw a bunch of fights.

The one in Dothan, AL right inside the circle is pretty good.

Lots of places are cheap in Auburn - the meat is picked up fresh from the roadside daily. ;)

Well, that's only fair. I was getting drained serving all those "Miller Lites" for visiting Auburn fans.

If you want soul food, Pannie George's is right by the interstate.

Not sure whats it called, but right off the Auburn exit there is a place that does pretty decent southern cooking, piccadilly style.

Amsterdam Cafe -best crab cakes ever, homemade soups, etc.
Veggies-To-Go on Glen Ave, has southern style food. You get a meat choice and freshly prepared veggies and cornbread. Really good stuff.
