It sounds like the argument started with that guy telling them to turn the music down ---> a physical fight ensued ---> brothers were still pissed off after guy went back into his house ---> guy shot brothers when they tried to go into his house.
Not that I'd expect a Bama fan to have even mediocre critical thinking skills or anything, but this isn't remotely comparable to your fans openly shooting and killing each other because they "weren't upset enough bout Bama's loss"

I don't get the relevance. Random shooting in La has nothing to do with the SEC. At least the Bama story was tied directly to football.

I just watched the news video inthe OP's link.
There is a trailer in the background (or maybe a modular home) with an obviously broken dish on the roof. I think these folks probably fly in the face of your 'it's not very trashy and redneck' comment.
