Well, that's your problem.

they could laugh all they want but their native food can't touch ours. they don't know what a spice cabinet looks like.

Buckhead is nice but it's not the best neighborhood go just go out and drink in. Virginia Highlands, Midtown, Little Five Points, and downtown Decatus (which is practically a part of Atlanta) are much better.
Traffic sucks. MARTA trains are easier to deal with unless you're going somewhere they don't go.

I've been to midtown and little five points and had a good time
i've never done the MARTA thing
I'll try it out next time I go down...but we usually have to haul shite back from Ikea

You don't think people from NOLA move other places and open up restaurants? There are several people from NOLA that live here now and have their own restaurants. They're in every city. A lot left after Katrina and never went back.
They're in NYC and Portland too.

In my experience, if there's a lot of traffic, it's probably a good place to live.

I live in the same neighborhood as Ikea. I love that place.

Well, I think Atlanta is a good place to live but the traffic is because of the sprawl and lack of adequate transit.

NYC is the best food in the country. Period.
As a general rule, the coasts have the best food. Be in NYC in the East, NOLA on the Gulf, SF/Portland/Seattle on the west coast.

The thing about ATL traffic, if you spend any time in it, it's because you don't actually live in Atlanta.

Screw public transportation. It's the worst. If it's needed I don't want to live there.

or it means you work in the city
Posted on 2/12/14 at 3:32 pm to cas4t
Oh yeah, I meant more like one area/neighborhood over another... not an entire city. LA is the worst city.

There are always people with Tennessee license plates headed that way. Maybe they should build one. The only two in the entire south, outside of Florida, are in Atlanta and Charlotte.
