I'm one of those Liberals (I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the most progressive on this board 
), and I was physically disgusted after I was done with that video.
What they are missing is that their demands won't solve the root cause of this issue, which is how racist become racist...in the home. They have only given fuel to that father to say something within earshot of an impressionable son denouncing all black people, and the whole cycle continues.

I love the true liberals, true conservatives, true libertarians and of course those without an ideological home, the pragmatists. They aren't fake, they believe certain things and are willing to explain why and provide compelling reasons for you to side with their argument.
There's a foundation for compromise and people learn from contrasting views.

Same here. I grew up in a "gotta pick yourself up by your bootstraps" family. I think that has its problems as well but beats the shite out of what I am seeing from this generation.
My brother is twelve years younger and took him and his fiance out. Some douche-bag was riding his bike in the middle road and had several opportunities to move over while I was driving and I made a comment about him moving over. I unleashed WWIII. I totally don't relate.
