Hmmmm, Farragut area? Not sure what's so miserable about it, other than Lovell Rd traffic, hell of a lot nicer than most of Columbia

Keep in mind that football season is over, Christmas is over, it's fricking cold but there is no snow at the moment, basketball team is 2 years away from being relevant again, no baseball yet, no hockey at all, give the town a break is what I'm saying

Knoxville is miserable all times of the year. I'm there often.

Unless construction and shitty surroundings is your thing.

Make the short trip to Pigeon Forge. Get some taffy and ride go carts. If that doesn't make you happy, then there is no pleasing you.

I like Knoxville in the Spring. Their dogwood trees are the nicest I've seen anywhere. East Tennessee is a great area for birding in April.
