By the way... last month's Bon Appetit had a recipe for home made almond milk.

It's nuts, salt, and water in a blender. Strained.

I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised it doesn't taste nearly as bad a skim milk. I think I'm converted for good now.

I'm a fan.

I've been curious about this. Taste much different than regular milk?

FWIW, I'll make my calorie cuts elsewhere. Gotta have my good ol' fashioned milk.

And be careful with Soy products apparently it can cause men to lose testosterone. My dad aged by 20 years in testosterone bc he was using soy milk and soy protein.

Organic is cows raised naturally with no hormones but that's not why I like it. It's ultra-pasteurized which makes the milk sweeter and makes it last longer.

You have my full attention.. I like milk (2%), but if it gets close to expiring I can't deal with it.

Besides being chemical free, it has 63% more omega 3 fatty acids, which is very good for your brain and heart.

Because milk is so healthy for you, right?

Humans are the only species that consumes the milk of another animal.

I do pay a milk-maid for 8 oz of breast milk to consume after legs day. Breasf milk is the best milk.

So you are saying organic milk has no hormones?

I don't know about all that, pasteurization is just heating it up to kill bacteria.

What chemicals are in milk that are not in organic milk?
