When are people who hold themselves up as beacons of moral righteousness going to learn not to do shite like this? It inevitably always comes out.

Have to wonder what else this character has been/is up to. How many other addictions are there? They seldom occur singly anymore.

He was raised in a family so strict that he could only "side hug and hold hands" while he was courting his future wife. His normal teenage male hormones were suppressed and buried for years while his father is busy getting his mother pregnant every chance he could.
He fondles and maybe even molested his own sisters and his parents allowed him to continue living in the same house as his victims?

I guarantee you he won't be the last of those kids to have something like this cone out eventually. Raising kids in that type of legalistic, socially restrictive environment retards their development and leads to repressed behaviors being manifested in unhealthy ways.
