You need a job so you can't watch soap operas all day.

Sorry, you didn't hustle enough in your younger years so you can enjoy life now.

I remember when Ben Jones (the actor who played Cooter from Dukes of Hazzard) got into politics. He seemed like a good dude. I also remember when MTV played musical videos and was about music.

I remember one night while I was at LSU. We were at an off campus party and there were some ugly girls there. My buddies wanted to stay, so I got to drinking. There was this chick there that still haunts me today with how ugly she was. But after a couple hours of her begging me to bone her, I gave it up. Not a very proud moment, but hey, I got laid.

I've often thought, in those specific eras of our lives, it's not really that you can't find a chick, it's how low are you willing to crater your standards for that one moment in time.

Is it hard to go out to a bar and end up banging an OT 10? Absolutely.

Is it hard to go out anywhere in a college town and get laid if you start at a 10 and eventually work your way down? Absolutely not.

P.S. My worst was a similar situation, in college, a buddy had this decently attractive girl he was trying to hook up with and we met her and her ugly friend, and I ended up taking one for the team so they wouldn't both leave. Threw this girl a bone both figuratively and literally, and then the thing is, she wouldn't shut up. Like talked the whole time, directing me on what to do and asking me questions. (Which sounds like it could've been hot, but trust me, it wasn't.) Just a miserable, clinical experience of ugliness all the way around.
