Whites have destroyed continents and civilizations of people for centuries. You cry over a millionaire that isn't fit to lead.
I wish more groups would refuse to be subjected to white supremacy. All sports would be less interesting and the SWAC would be a Power 5 conference.

I just don't understand what exactly they wanted Wolfe to do about these issues? I mean, some dude got called a n***** by some redneck that was driving by, and someone drew a swastika with a piece of shite on a bathroom wall. Is that all? Am I missing anything?
Do they expect him to announce a manhunt for the perpetrators, and will not rest until they are caught? What exactly do they want done? Hold their hand and tuck them in?
This country is becoming an absolute joke.

And maybe some of you guys shouldn't automatically choose sides based on your preconceived notions.
Maybe you should make decisions based on facts, not preconceived notions.

If they're as interested in "open dialogue" as they claim to be, should it matter?

When I was in Grad School, our Chancellor resigned, not because of any real mis-steps, but rather his position on a proposed and ultimately ill fated placement of a sports arena in the only remaining and untouched green space on campus. The students and faculty rallied against the placement of the complex in a sensitive environmental area (not the complex itself.) I remember being part of a tense and heated exchange between the Chancellor of the University, facility and students in an academic building shortly before summer recess (I was walking through the building and just happened to come upon the incident). Had cell phones and youtube existed then, I'm sure it would have been recorded as well.
The facility in question was a tens of millions of dollars facility (basketball arena) where a majority of the funds would have been raised by an increase in student fees (75%). This was at the same time the school was cutting professors, classes, journal subscriptions, and lots of other needed academic support. The whole thing culminated in a student protest (a sit in) in the Chancellors office during final exams. The students involved had the $#!+ together including a "press corps" that faxed out a press release about the sit in to every major news outlet in the state. They had 1 main press person (a communications major) on the outside that handled all the media. They also had also contacted a lawyer and he agreed to represent the students pro-bono if things ended up going south. In addition to all of the Major news outlets in the state, the story ended up making CNN, NPR and the Chronicle of higher education even wrote a story about it. (not bad for the pre-internet world...)
The rift eventually made it to the ear (taken by the students and facility) of the State Legislature which ended up tabling the budget item. It ended up giving him enough of a black eye, that he couldn't effectively lead the school any longer.
My point is this, a University president/Chancellor needs to take ever the most seemingly insignificant happening on campus seriously. You never know what issues the students on your campus will rally around that could cost you your job...

Whatever side your opinion is, you can't deny one fact
Football is king at these schools. And for the first time I can think of the engine of this money machine won something (what was really won I don't know)
But damn football rules these schools. Don't frick with the football program

Tried to do what? It sounds like there were two or three isolated incidents and there's not any proof any of them happened.

Another thing to look at though...
Is football fricked with the fans and over a racial incident that wasn't completely viewed as justified. Don't frick with football over matters that aren't 100% justified either. I hope Mizzou fans react accordingly.
