No I totally get why it's annoying on social media which is why you won't ever see me posting that shite on twitter or Facebook. Watching my child grow through pictures is fascinating to me and my wife so we keep it at home in an album like real people.

im sorry, but Im thinking it is time you left Betadom and took control. Just tell people - "hey, we are having a ______" No party or drama required.

Have a little fun, just tell people "nah, she's just getting fat. We haven't had sex in over a year".

Enjoy your kids... but don't try to make them celebs on social media. You have a great responsibility in growing great kids/people. Don't buy into the social media hype that you have to publicize everything they do. Let them achieve for the sake of achievement, not recognition. That is what builds character. That is what builds society. That is what this country needs

Gender neutral birthday parties for pre-pubescent children meant to not encourage the child to take on stereotypical gender identities as a child. Boys having tea parties, girls wearing boys bathing suits, shite like that. Yes, it's a thing.

Nothing wrong with that. Enforcing gender roles on impressionable young children is irrational and barbaric.

News flash, this isnt a new thing. People used to do the same thing through US Mail. They still do. Nekkid pictures of their kids. On my fridge. 900 years of child porn on my fridge right now but its ok because my wife hangs them up.

Sometimes I'm glad I'm old. This is one of those times.

Part I don't get is who gives a shite?

I don't care about gender reveal parties and such either. But then again I don't care if people do them or not. Have at it. When my wife shows me the little video of someone's reveal i say "I don't care to see" and she says "ok" and that's all there is to it. I don't get mad and pissy over them.

I blame Pinterest for all of it. It helps overachieving mothers constantly one-up each other.

Whatever happened to the idea of waiting til the kid gets born to find out? We had 4 kids and did that every time.

Haha, get your panties in a twist over it if you want, I don't see a problem with it. If people want to come they can; we aren't asking for any gifts or shite. Just a party to have a few laughs, some drinks, and play a guessing game with a cake at the end.

You're such a big tough guy alpha, telling your woman "no" to having a party. I wish I was as big tough guy as you.

I'm seeing so many dorks on social media releasing pink or blue balloons and cutting cake.

What's wrong with these people?

Don't they know that society shouldn't dictate the kids gender. By using a certain color balloon you are already putting pressure on the child to conform to societies bigoted ideas of how a "girl or boy should act".

The child should choose themselves what gender they want to be and we should accept it as normal. And send more tax money to democrats.
