You nailed it. At least the 4 cam was a fast coupe. The car in the OP is a slow ornament IMHO.

Rolls Royce makes some really good ship components. Their field Reps are usually really cool guys too.

Yes. A Sunbeam Tiger.

Tiny English car mated to a 289 cu inch (4.7L) Ford V8 by none other than Carroll Shelby.

When my brother was about 18-19 one of his best friends, 'Crazy Cox', got one of those. It took him about a month to kill himself with it.

Yes the wheelbase is so short on the car it was a certifiable death trap. But God what a beautiful little car. There is a guy that lives in Flowood/Reservoir area that has a yellow one with a black top and I go crazy every time I see it. I speed or turn around just to get near him at a stop light. The sound at idle vibrates your car as most had very very short mufflers basically coming right out of the headers. YouTube videos of the sound coming from these. It is pure heaven. It was considered the "poor man's Cobra" because it had the same engine and transmission as the legendary AC MarkIV Cobra that Shelby also developed.

IMHO, there's never been a better looking car than the Jaguar E-types. However, loved the Aston Martins as well. For a more modern take on the ASton Martins, check out the new David Brown Speedback.

Looks like a 84 Camero. The newer Astin Martins are sexy cars. DB 6, DB7, Vanquish. The older ones never appealed to me though. Parents had a '54 XK 120 Jag when I was a kid. Dad wanted to do ground up restoration on it. We spent so much time on that POS that I never wanted to see another Jag. The engine, the first aluminum head production engine ever, was bullet proof. But the body was a horror story. English cars rust to death.
