Thank you! They seem to have gotten the best of both of us, and although I was blonde as a young child, they are both carrying the color far longer than I did.

I always wonder if having ugly kids would be easier, but then I think of the fact that something ugly was created out of our "materials."

She is. She's the one everyone notices because she has personality for days, but she's actually my minime. I looked exactly like that minus the blue eyes, so she'll probably look like me. Not a bad thing, but she won't be a supermodel.

Hey, we had some friends who were both black have a son with caramel coloring and greenish blue eyes (he should be a model he's so pretty). The wife's great grandfather had blue eyes, and her whole family was very light coloring, so thankfully her husband didn't make a big deal of it.

I have a couple of cousins who look like this up in Michigan. It is RIDICULOUS how much they're fawned over by the opposite sex (they're paternal twins).
Also, I have no idea what our kids are gonna look like. We were kind of making a game of it at Disney World because it was nice to see so many interracial families running around the park
Lotta random genes from both sides of our families, so it'll be something.
