Yes. IMO, when censors started letting that word slip past the goalie, that's when the dam burst. Since then more and more things have gotten on TV even in the 7:00 hour.

Pee-Pee, tinkle, much more appropriate.

What the frick is a bad word? who decides what a bad word sounds like? FCC is stupid and I think TV should be completely uncensored.

I don't. I have given thought to what i'll teach them about "bad words: though. I swear like a sailor in real life so i'm sure they'll pick them up. My plan is to teach them that these words are considered very rude by some people. It's important to be polite around people and to be respectful but it's not the end of the world if my kid tells someone to go frick off.

Perhaps if you have children you'll stop, or ease off profanity. Nothing says low class as much as children who curse. I,too, used to curse like a sailor, but have just about stopped cold turkey since 1993.

There are times when it's appropriate and times when it isn't. I swore like a sailor as a kid yet everyone that ever met me would tell you I was the politest most well spoken kid they had been around. The secret is that I didn't cuss at people who would be pissed off at me for it. But hit a bad golf shot and my grandpa would be laughing his arse off.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

I don't have kids either, and like you I do not like this "bad" word stigma. I swear about as much as anyone, but I know when or who not to use them around, i.e. my mother. She would lose her shite if I talked normal around her.

Definitely a difficult one to ponder.
