Well it worked for Jeremiah Johnson. He even found himself a squaw.

It's crazy you posted this, I was just thinking yesterday how I need to make a razor change. I've been reading that badger and blade website and I am going to try that wet shaving thing with a double edged razor. I hope it works out, because my face has been acting weird lately with a cartridge razor.

Edit: I feel like a fricking weirdo reading a website that is dedicated to shaving. Seems weird.

Yeah it is weird to talk about but I felt like there had to be something I am doing wrong. It looks shaving issues are something everyone deals with.

Some guys have spots where their beard grows out in different directions (called a hair whorl, which is apparently the equivalent of a cow lick). If you have one on your neck, that can make it hard to avoid ingrown hairs, since it's hard to shave with the grain.

Some of the guys on that site take it WAAAAYYY too seriously. Everyone needs a hobby though, I suppose. Just never thought shaving would be someone's hobby, but different strokes.

Especially in the groinal region.

No shite, man. I was just trying to get tips on what I needed to get started, but these fools were talking about how "it's so enjoyable to shave now, etc". Getting laid is enjoyable, not shaving my face.

I might start a new thread about that.

surprisingly, shaving my scrote is simple, painless, and has no post shave issues.

shaving the upper pubes results in some of the worst ingrown hairs I've ever had.

my solution: shave my balls for that awesome smooth feeling (for srs, smooth balls are kind of amazing) and just trim the rest with clippers.

That all sounds reasonable. I have had similar experiences.
