NWA is hard to beat especially the Buffalo as others have mentioned. Got a little of everything except a coast. Not a huge fan of MS, but the Natchez Trace is pretty nice drive.

Lot of different places, I remember going to Hot springs on a family vacation as a teenager, I would like to go check that out again.

When I worked in the Smokies 15 years ago there were constantly warnings about poor air quality. Prolly from ATL.
