Sms open a beer set the chicken over the can and go low and slow for a couple of hours

So what kind of beer? Do I not need to stuff the chicken? I despise chicken so this is a big undertaking for me.
I am actually going to use my gas grill because the smoker is going to be way to big for just a 3 to 4 lb chicken.
Turn on the far vent to low put chips above it and water beside chicken. Or atleast that is what I originally planned.
Plus I need to know how should brine this damn nasty bird.

While I enjoy reading all different takes on the zombie genre, I tend to agree with you here.
Only way a slow-moving apocalypse works is if it's something that strikes an overwhelming number of people simultaneously. And even then a handful of folks could easily bunker up and pick off slow moving zombies IMO.
The WWZ zombies are MUCH more believable. Your arse was grass the minute one of them thangs laid eyes on you. Far scarier IMO.

Any beer I used a lager when I still drank. You place the beer can inside the body and cook it at around 225 to 230 for a couple of hours. I usually rub the bird with salt pepper and a little garlic powder to taste

So pop it and dont drink it right? a regular 12 oz? I do not drink so I will have to go buy one at a store I guess

Kentucker and I, while mentally masturbating to 'thinning the herd' have both devised that it'd be most terrifying if it were a weaponized version of existing diseases wherein the incubation time was extremely long.
We're talking a few weeks, and if that were the case, then it could very well wipe out the planet even with slow moving zombies.
I think, though, a group of trained soldiers or even regular people (as you said) could easily hold their own against thousands.
Hell, Rorke's Drift showed that 150 soldiers with training can hold back 4,000 at a defensive position.
I'm thinking ten soldiers with access to an M2 (or even without) and a stockpile of ammunition could easily, with modern technology, hold back over 10,000 -- with the only break coming from having to sleep.

Yeah open it and don't drink it. It keeps the chicken moist while cooking. Google beer can chicken.

Hmmm.....that'd probably be the only way, I have to agree.
I kind of liked the last zombie book I read where zombies were fast and couldn't necessarily be brought down with any old headshot. Had to blow out the medulla oblongata.

I think the only problem, for most normal folk, would be maintaining the weapon and alternating fire to ensure barrel integrity.
Other than that, it would take...so many slow moving zombies to do anything.
Which is why The Walking Dead is terrible. Turrible.
