Vet was telling us yesterday about a lab that comes in all the time for eating something stupid. Nails. Glass. Batteries. You name it, the dog has attempted to consume it.

Our previous lab disemboweled a toy named Petey, but the head still had the stuffing. He then ate it, and proceeded to shite it out a week later.

my neighbors have a boxer/mastiff mix and he eats socks and bra straps pretty much every week.

Some of the stories I've heard from vets talking about what they've removed from dogs' stomachs are pretty funny. One removed a pair of thongs that were not the owner's wife's.

My dog threw up a sock last week. At least he's not eating underwear yet.
