Can't say that I have. Nor do I have anything against the Pacific Northwest. Just messing with you.

Broken Window Serenade-Whiskey Myers

Pretty good song I've been drunkenly stuck on for a while.

I'll wait for the next bad song on the Alphabetical playlist and listen.

I went to Seattle not expecting to like it at all and it turns out I love it. It's an awesome place, I'd really like to live there at some time in my life.

New settings are enjoyable for me in general. I don't remember ever going anywhere and not enjoying myself. Unless it was for a job, that is.

Don't know how you feel about Drive By Truckers, but this is a good one.

I've been stuck in this alternative loop for fifteen years. It's been brutal.

I enjoy most everything, but I always have this whole aversion to country-type stuff based on my yankee arse being exposed to the Missouri way of life and mostly hating it.

I'm trying to appreciate country, and I don't hate it, but everytime I hear a fiddle I think of being down yonder on the Chatahoochie.

If you can't appreciate DBT's approach to southern rock/blues/alternative country, I'm not sure I can help you.

It's not about appreciation, it's about trying to forget the ignorant hicks I really disliked there, and the music just brings it all back.

I like some of the old "New Country" stuff. As much as I like to make fun of it, Alan Jackson is an enjoyable listen.

I just don't like the genre enough to expand from the small portion I enjoy to the other stuff that actually takes effort to find and enjoy.
