You watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine yet? It's pretty good. (I love all those shows you listed, so I think we probably have similar humor.)

If you've ever served in the military, particularly the Army, don't ever watch Enlisted. fricking horrible. Everyone is ate the frick up.

And to contribute to the rap lyrics:

All my life I want money and power
Respect my mind or die from lead shower
I pray my dick get big as the Eiffel Tower
So I can frick the world for 72 hours

Kendrick is a genius.

Love that show.

Also love New Girl and Parks and Rec.

Dexter and Scrubs were among my all time faves.

Also watch Walking Dead and loved Breaking Bad (although I still haven't seen the final season )

Scrubs is in my top 5 all-time, easy. And the hospital work environment it depicts is scarily close to real life.

I watched 5 minutes of Enlisted before I had to turn it off. My wife was then privy to a 10 minute tirade about how shitty it was and how many reg violations I saw.

It's absolutely my all time favorite show. The way they blended the comedy with the drama just hit all the right notes with me, every time

Same for my wife and I They tried so hard to force the humor and failed there, too.

I'm usually very fogiving of my TV shows and even in the less than popular ones can usually find some merit/reason to keep watching, but Enlisted was straight garbage from the word go.

The first 4 seasons of Dexter were fantastic, and then it started going downhill. I was taken completely off-guard by the final episode of the "Trinity" season (you'll know what I'm talking about). Just wow. I couldn't believe it. Breaking Bad never got me like that, but Breaking Bad is by far the better overall show imo.

That episode in season 8 with the old man who dies and then they play "I Will Follow You Into the Dark".

Scrubs would have been my favorite show ever until I found Doctor Who. They both gimme them feels, bro. And them laffs.

Disagree. Season 5 (with Lumen) is actually my favorite, tbh. Season 7 was excellent, too.

Eh, I like 'em both. Comparing shows is really stupid, IMHO. Like different shows for different reasons and just let them stand on their own.

Still haven't delved into Dr. Who, but I intend to soon. One of my little sisters is absolutely in love with that show

Season 5 with Matt Smith as the Doctor is more immediately accessible, but starting at season 1 with Christopher Eccelston starts to pay off by episode 3 or 4. The very first episode is tough to get through because it's so off the wall, though.

That's the modern series. I don't suggest trying to watch any Classic Who unless you watch New Who and absolutely love it and need more.

I keep wanting to start Dexter, but haven't been in the right mood yet.

I DID try Breaking Bad, but found it too heavy for my tastes. I can't binge watch it because after a couple episodes I'm too fricking depressed to go on. Haha

I prefer my drug dealing parent to be a hot MILF - a la Weeds.

Breaking Bad and Dexter were very different shows, so I agree about not comparing them too seriously. Breaking Bad was more like an extended movie... it worked to a final, specific ending. Dexter was more "season" oriented.

I've watched a little classic Who. Didn't really fall in love with it, though. Not going to use my experience with that to color how I feel about the modern series, though.

Makes sense. I can respect that

Yeah, BB will do that to you. I have to be careful what frame of mind I'm in before watching that, too (and I did binge watch the first 5 seasons).

Yeah, Skyler is an OT3, at best

My m8 says Dexter is just as good as breaking bad. I don't see how that's possible. Anyways I just finished watching the wire. Good series wood recommend.

I enjoyed both just as much.

Then again, I don't really see the need to compare, like I said. They both are what they are.
