UPS is just gonna blow you off and say you never scheduled shite

And thats the part where somebody gets cussed the frick out. Here is the order that it will probably all go down:

1. Salesman hears from customer that his shite isn't there.
2. Salesman calls/comes to me and I get bitched at for it not shipping.
3. Salesman goes to any of my supervisors and tells them that I didn't ship it.
4. I get bitched at by supervisors for it not shipping.

To them it is my fault that it didn't ship, when really it is UPS's fault.

Movie ticket will soon hit $25 - $50 per ticket in about 5 years. It's already happening at select theaters on the coasts.

There was a dollar movie theater back in Birmingham that showed movies 6 weeks or so after they were released. Really the only reason I went home when I was in college

The only time I use UPS freight is something that is going out of the southeast or in this particular case they are wanting me to bill it to the customers UPS account so I have to use UPS. UPS fricking SUCKS.

Spielberg and Lucas have warned of an inevitable Hollywood "Great Depression" crash if either 1) ticket prices aren't dramatically increased, or 2) movie budgets aren't dramatically reduced. The problem is that movie budgets will not decrease, but rather they will steadily increase.

They have warned that if movie ticket prices aren't raised to at least $25 per ticket, Hollywood will fail.

They've pointed to an increase in incredibly expensive movie failures, such as Disney's Lone Ranger. Experts indicate that losses like that are not sustainable.

Yeah, but I think that one shut down the summer of '09. Right before my freshman year .

They're opening the theater back up, but it isn't a dollar theater anymore. Or BYOB.

Spielberg and Lucas

While I agree with them, Spielberg isn't exactly innocent of creating astronomical movie budgets for movies that probably shouldn't have been made to begin with (I'm looking at you Transformer sequels).

Anymore unless it's something I really, really want to see in the theater I just don't go. My movie going is probably contained more to theaters like the one near me that does midnight runnings of popular older releases and the occasional MST3K.

The bad thing is that they've said the future of movies will solely be the incredibly expensive blockbuster spectacle. Independent movies with solid stories and acting will eventually become extinct.
