I'm so sorry coastie. My brother was murdered as well. It's a terrible feeling knowing someone is so heartless.
Belle, plane ticket is too much so I think I'm driving down on either monday or tues. Getting a rental. Then maybe one way ticket back to Minnesota.

Yeah, a similar thing happened to one of my teammates/neighbors 3 yrs ago. He was shot in a shopping center Parking Lot. Although, I was really close in the beginning and then he moved away before my sr. yr in high school (and weren't able to maintain as much contact).
I remember coming home from a family BBQ, and hearing this news on one of the TV stations in my area. The killer, thankfully, is locked up (but not long enough, IMO).

People who kill people for no reason other than personal gain deserve something worse than hell.

St Patty's Day is a big day in Baton Rouge. There is a parade tomorrow.
I have to take my dog to the vet in the morning. If I miss the parade, I'm going meet up with my peeps and going out after.

I knew it was a big deal in BR. I just forgot you lived there! And Minneapolis (St. Paul) goes hard for St Patty. As in whole city is shoulder to shoulder by noon.
