It shows that you actually put in some work. Although you cant use wikipedia as a source you CAN use wikipedias sources. I'm a genius, I know.

Not to sound ancient or anything, but I'm jealous as hell because although the internet was coming into play while I was in school, Wikipedia didn't exist yet.

Just NEVER copy and paste anything from wikipedia or anywhere. Theyre not joking when they say you will be expelled with no warnings. A guy tried that at UA when I was there and he got the axe.

I did well in all of my major and minor classes there are a few of them that I just cruised thru and I can't even remember anything from them. Literally the only thing I remember from comparative politics is the prisoners dilemma and I took 2 of those classes.

We had a huge building on campus called a library. I'm sure they've turned it into a bowling alley or something now that it is no longer needed.
Seriously, I graduated from college in 2000. It was pretty cool to be on the cutting edge of new technology like high-speed (non dial up)internet access. I got my very own email address. It was awesome.

This is completely accurate and totally fine. Wikipedia is a good starting point. Just don't cite it directly. They link to mostly legitimate sources for their information, which really isn't any different than looking for citations on, say, Google Scholar or something.
