See, I text way more than talk. And I am on my phone 95% of the time that I'm on the internet. I think i'd prefer a big screen.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I know Imma wear the internet out probly. Looking forward to not being tethered to my laptop or these shitty gov't computers whenever I wanna post on the rant or surf the web.

I make maybe 12 calls a week, and at least 8 or 9 of those are to my wife, so when I move back in with her, that's gonna go way down, too

I need to figure out what service works best in small town, blizzard ridden Minnesota

And yea tbird best thing about sprint is the unlimited data. I could probably survive off of 200 minutes a month

You don't have to use the S pen. You can hand write text, edit photos, edit documents, different things most people would never use.

You can buy a C pen for the S3 touse with the Smemo app, I don't have one but am looking at getting one. The thing I don't like about the C pen is having to carry it in my pocket. I will lose it.

I wanted to switch to sprint badly for that reason.

Verizon has better national coverage, though, and since we move a lot with the military, that was what we went with. Plus Mrs. Tbird already had verizon from her college days (I switched to them from AT&T--still prefer AT&T, truth be told, but it's whatever at this point).

ETA: Thanks again for the info, lurkr. Very helpful

Depends on what you want to do with the phone. I use a cheap flip phone because all I do with it is make and receive calls and a few text messages. It's small, cheap and I can just keep it in my pants pocket. I do everything internet related on my computer; no need for internet access on a phone.

If you have a carrier like Verizon or AT&T and plan on sticky with them, then go to their website to see what deals they have on their phones. You don't seem very tech savvy so if you want a smartphone then you should probably get an iPhone.

I have a RAZR Max now and I love it. I've had an iphone4, a couple HTC products and my RAZR is, by far, my favorite. Never had a Galaxy but it may be next

I've read since good reviews on the RAZR Max. I may go play with it today actually.
