I haven't checked yet. I'm guessing I'd have to pay for a pass or something. I have a 2nd cousin in Chicago, but I don't know how close to the stadium he is. I don't even know where the stadium is, honestly, I've never been to Chi-town. If I get to set-up near Shakedown Street, I'm going to make a killing. I usually bring 20-30 cartons of Marlboro Lights and a similar amount of water bottle cases to sell.

Sounds like a nice set of trips dude. You going to be partying hard for Mardi Gras?

Grateful Dead "reunion" with Trey from Phish playing fake Jerry and Bruce Hornsby on keys.
It's going to be terrible.

I'm gonna take a moment to wallow in pity if y'all don't mind. I thought I had the flu on Friday...woke up aching all over and running a low grade temp. I went to the CVS Minute Clinic thinking I'd get a script for Tamiflu and all would be better. Wrong. I ended up in the shock/trauma ICU @ MCG in Augusta. Temp was 105.4 with a pulse of 162. They were unable to access a vein in the typical IV fashion bc I was severely dehydrated so they had to insert a central line via the femoral vein. I was discharged home last night and I'm willing to perform human sacrifice if need be to avoid EVER getting that sick again.
One last thing for me to grieve over....my daughter leaves in a few days for Germany where she will reside for the next year. A year without seeing my baby. I understand why it's called heartbreak now...it really does feel like mine is shattering into a bazillion pieces. I'm at a critical FML level. I won't rest easy until she is safely on German soil, and even then it will only be like putting a bandaid on a wound that needs 100's of stitches. They really do grow up too fast. So much truth in the "blink and you'll miss it" cliché when applied to how fast time seems to have passed from her birth until this point.
Alright, pity party over. Gotta be strong so that she doesn't feel guilty for living her life independent of mama. She's never seen me cry, but the day she flies out, I'm afraid it's gonna be a snotty nose, hiccupping, can't breath kinda crying spell.

Hang in there, C_G. No shame in feeling that way, IMO
You raised her right--she'll be ok, and hopefully the shenanigans on these boards can help take your mind off things for a bit.

Hang tough and glad you're feeling better.

Tbird & Ag - Thanks so much for the encouragement, y'all. Honest to God, it is bc of the two of you that my respect for the Aggies has soared exponentialy. And Tbird, you are absolutely correct about this place serving as a chaotic, perverse, oddly fascinating and hilarously entertaining form of distraction.
Ag, I never did get the email from the other day. Try sending it to aol using the same handle you already have, k?
