Got home from the airport a little while ago. I had to fly from Dallas to Chicago to Memphis. My layover in Chicago was only 50 minutes, and I was in a rush because it took forever to taxi the runway. Some 50 something year old lady intentionally took her sweet time getting her coat out of the storage bin and walking off the plane, and as I passed her she said "You should plan better, and leave more time in between flights." This was at 9:00 at night, there aren't any later flights going into Memphis at that time of night.

I said "I'm going to Memphis, there aren't many options." She said "You never know," with a bitch smile on her face. I said "Yes ma'am, I do know. Would you like to book my travel arrangements next time?"

I had to turn back around to say it, because her large arse was waddling. I guess she thought if she said it to my back I would ignore her. Usually I would, but she got under my skin.

She would have gotten a swift "frick off". I wouldn't have even been able to catch myself

The thing was she overheard the flight attendant telling me to hurry to the front, and me saying I hate to be the person that breaks airplane etiquette. She was just a bitch.

That's just so messed up. I know whenever I'm flying I always do my damndest to let the folks who are in a rush go on ahead. You never know why they're in a hurry, and it's none of your business. It's just polite to be accommodating.

I guess people like her get their jollies by being bitchy, and that's a shame

I'm with you. I have a very slow temper. Been called racial slurs to my face and I haven't even gotten mad about it. But people presuming things about you and then being difficult about it is just fricked up, IMO.

While I was in tech school, I needed to take emergency leave to go get a marriage license from the courthouse downtown. The trainers (both female) took great delight in shitting all over me for being a poor planner (even though it was something neither Aggiebelle nor I had had planned--her home situation had changed and we were unable to have the blowout wedding she wanted, so the situation already kinda sucked) and making jokes about me and my relationship to each other while I'm standing in front of them at parade rest trying to be respectful.

One of the most pissed I have ever been in my entire life. I was shaking when I left their office, it was that bad.
