I've known several people with terminal illnesses. None of them lived a joyous life after finding out they would die soon. In fact, they all seemed to be in mourning for the life they would never have.
I've thought about that angle but people with terminal illness are usually not able to do things like you would be able to do in this scenario. So I don't think you can apply their feelings about death to this situation.

No, absolutely not. As they say, ignorance is bliss.

I'm conflicted on this one. Part of me would want to know and allow me to plan and do the things that are important. Another part of me wouldn't want to know as it might be too much.
Yeah. Imagine how big a waste time spent at work would feel like if you knew you were down to ---- days, months or years.

Yep. Term life would cover the family really well.

No. I don't think about death and just
live my life.
If I knew, it would consume my thoughts
and that's just not appealing.
live my life.

Yeah I'd like to know
Would you really?
Think of what that would mean. It would actually give you a date at which you have to make a decision to either continue striving for shite or to just say frick it and enjoy life.
Seems weird to me.
