Stanford. Easily.

Fantastic education on a global scale.
Excellent sports teams.
Norcal weather

Downside is proximity to San Francisco and that bunch of maniacs.

I've been to UNA in flagstaff. Stayed a night there on the way to see the Grand Canyon. It's a cool little town for Northhern Arizona, but I would hate to have to spend four or five years at school there. It's not THAT great.

I really hate heat so that may have been what was so attractive. I wasn't big on the "college experience" so a small school like that would have been ideal for me.

Arizona State is the only correct answer and not for either reason you proposed OP...

Is this with the caveat that there is no STD's there? (hypothetically)

I think Sun Devils and Taco Tech are #1 and #2 for STD's on college campuses. At least Sun Devils have hot women, seems odd Taco Tech is that high. Can you get STD's from a bell?

It was too expensive when I was choosing a university.

I'm thinking Vandy or SMU. Next time I'm going to school to marry into money. I am too conservative to handle an ivy league girl but I think I could handle one from Tennessee or Texas, or at least one who was willing to go there instead of Ivy League/California schools.

UCLA over USC. Have you been to the campuses? One is in the projects and one is in Brentwood and 10 minutes from the beach
