I would get my growler filled. They have a bar in the one close to me and rotate craft beers.

Really like Breckenridge IPA's

Have you tried the Lucky's in DaVille and if so, how would you compare them to Rainbow Blossom?

I went to a Whole Foods Market for the first time today by Chazzy McRamzee

True story: I tried to pay with cash at Whole Foods one time and the cashier, a really attractive pseudo hippy chick, said to me, "We don't accept cash for moral reasons. Trees died in the making of your currency. Do you have a credit or debit card?"

I laughed and said something like, "Good one. For a second I thought you were serious!"

She did not smile and responded with, "Sir, it's our management's policy to not accept American currency since it's made with paper pulp which comes from trees. We are an environmentally friendly company. We do not condone the raping of forests."

I stood in silence for what seemed like forever but in reality was probably a few seconds trying to process what I was being told.

I said, "Well, I didn't bring my wallet with me today."

She said, "I'm sorry, sir. I cannot check you out unless you have a credit or debit card."

I walked out and vowed never to return to that loony establishment again.

Their breakfast buffet is legit. I am a fan of some of the 365 brands.

But overall its overpriced snobbery.

They sold out to InBev. You'll see them next to Budweiser nationwide pretty soon.

You are so full of shite. If you're gonna lie, at least be believable or funny.

Alabama killz walked into the local Piggly Wiggly in his clown suit and tried to buy the small children in the place for cash (see pic below) but local Alabama natives were not falling for his ploy and escorted him out of the store.

If you say so.

Doesn't change the fact the Whole Foods wouldn't accept my cash.

Lol. You have to be the dumbest person on these boards.

And please, get off our bandwagon. We're out of room anyways.

Yinz must've been using kansas currency.

Kentucky currency has worked just fine here at Whole Foods.

I really enjoy our Piggly Wiggly. Love it when the Pig does their tent sales, got some thick sliced hickory smoked bacon.. 10lbs for 15 bucks. It's not Wright Bacon.. but it was good, and a rack of ribs can be got for about 8 bucks when regularly double that. Not to mention the huge alcohol selection in our local one. I think they have the best meat in the area as well. Except they don't carry lamb. I go to Publix for that.

My Pig carries lamb. We have a fairly significant Jewish population here. All the local stores cater items to that group.

I haven't but since I moved I'm now closer to it. I might have to venture out there this weekend and report back.

I never go to WF for general shopping, like beer. When I go, I am looking for good cheeses, bread, deserts and 1-2 times a mth, some quality steaks.

If a kosher item is sold at The Pig, does that make it non-kosher?

I really like Harris Teeter for us baws in D.C. Only thing Whole Foods has on them is better produce and the granola aisle.
