Just finished all 5 seasons
Episodes 60, 61,62 were the best.
Until Hank died in episode 60 he was the best character
60 & 62 were the best out if the entire series which is extremely rare. Usually shows finish with a whimper with the best acting and writing behind them.
Some of the very best tv I have ever seen

I thought Hank was an abnoxious hipocrite at first, but liked him towards the end.
He did this with Hank, Walt, Gustavo and Jessie IMO
quote:
Gilligan wanted to create a series in which the protagonist became the antagonist. "Television is historically good at keeping its characters in a self-imposed stasis so that shows can go on for years or even decades," he said. "When I realized this, the logical next step was to think, how can I do a show in which the fundamental drive is toward change?"[6] He added that his goal with Walter White was to turn him from Mr. Chips into Scarface.[7][8][9]

I disagree on Hank and Gus
Hanks bravado and perspective changed after El Paso. But who he was at the core never did. He was a good guy, wasn't perfect but was always a good guy.
Gus was always a bad guy at the core. He was just smart and in control most of the time. He lost control but he was always a very very bad person

Hank was also my favorite. It was shocking when he died. Love that show.
Hank was always sympathetic in my view. He dealt with a lot of shite, but was always a man about it. And he never was dirty like most of the rest of the characters. He struggled, but the worst he ever did was be short with his annoying arse wife.

I think Ozymondias could stand up there as one of the greatest single episodes ever shown on TV.

Is that #60?
If so I couldn't agree more.

Hanks biggest fear was that he wouldn't be able to step up when it counted, which is why El Paso almost made his arse quit shook his core. In the end tho when he knew he was dead he was a bad arse and told Jack to frick off and do it.

Yeah, it's called Breaking Bad (as opposed to good, average, or even fair to middling) for a reason.

Hold on to your buns because the ride has just started. Skylar will quickly replace Hank as your favorite.
You're crazy. Skylar turns into a whiney bitch.
