I've never watched one of those channels for more than 2 minutes.

I actually prefer it to the stealth journalism environment we had prior to Obama. The gloves are off now. Put your cards on the table and let's see what you got: Conservative vs Liberal Progressive.

I'm about ready to cut cord on cable TV and go just with over the air and internet.

Be careful. The same cord carries your cable internet

I never thought I would say this but I have gotten to the point that the PBS Newshour is my new go too source for the daily news. It's the only one I can watch and feel like they aren't trying to mislead.

Yes, but they're having to change to meet customer demand. Spectrum, for example, now sells internet separately from TV and phone. They used to require a "bundled" service.

60% of Americans have ditched landlines and millions are dumping cable TV so, to survive they're having to deal. Streaming services are the present and future.

Spectrum took over my BrightHouse and have come up with a new way to gouge new internet only customers or prior customers who want to upgrade. The lowest rate is $65/mo stand alone, whereas BH offered two prices lower for those who didn't need massive amounts of bandwidth. The $65 does come with high bandwidth of I think 60 mbps download, but that is gross overkill for non gamers. Heck I'm still grandfathered in for only $29/mo. with 4 mbps, which allows me to watch any youtube or other video, Netflix, all in 1080p with only about a 3-5 sec. buffer.

Yeah, Spectrum is awful for gouging. When they took over Time Warner, the Lexington City Council hauled their asses in and demanded they justify why they were raising prices on people for no apparent reason.

Spectrum claimed that customers were getting some channels "for free" under TWC and that they were just updating their accounts! Incredulous, the Council ordered them to cease and desist or get the hell out of Lexington.

You may already have seen the news about the discovery of a 4th phase of water but if not here are a couple of YouTube links. It's fascinating.

The chick in the second one seems a bit flaky but she's a brilliant scientist. Her voice takes some getting used to.

4th phase of water.

The weirdness of water.

Lol at people who think Fox News is balanced

All new channels have a bias.

True. That's why I look for news from a variety of sources. I've found that local news reports are the least biased.

Yeah but Fox is a fricking joke. Its a commercial for Trump. I mean I know CNN leans left but they are pretty fair.

spot on, but if you can get OAN it's a straight down the middle news network.
