I bought a 01' Ranger in 2002. 1 year later had a busted fly wheel and broke torque converter. $1,000 repair. In 2006, bought an 06' Sliverado. Seven years later, no problems. Chevy is the way to go.

I own a 2007 F-150 and the only thing I have had to maint. wise is replacing the brakes and front rotors. I have owned fords and chevys. They all lasted at least 200000 miles before breaking completely down.

You talking about the Ford in Tuscaloosa? Their repair shop fricked me really bad once too. I thought about paying to create an Angie's List account for the sole purpose of putting them on blast.
