I'm so sick and tired of all these old people who lived during the reign of Jordan that say he is STILL the best player to ever play in the NBA.

Have none of them watched the NBA for the past 4 years? The Heat will repeat as champs this year. My vote goes to LeBron as the best to play the game, and he's only getting better.

It doesn't really matter if you're sick and tired of them. They're right. If you had watched Jordan play, you would agree.

Jordan played in a man's league where people got their arse kicked on the court.

Lebron plays in a pussified version of the NBA. I'm not saying he's not great but this is not an apples to apples comparison.

I did see Jordan play, and yes he was good. But he only did two things, shot well and had good dunks. LeBron does it all. Defense, rebounds, blocks shots, assists, shoot well, and could dunk all over Jordan if he was still in his prime today.

of course Jordan is going to have more championships that LeBron right now, because LeBron started out young and on a crappy team for the first few years in the NBA. But now that he's on a powerhouse team, his championship trophies will only grow bigger.

Jordan did a whole lot more than that. He averaged over 6 rebounds per game, over 5 assists and over 2 steals. Not to mention he led his team to 6 championships.

Magic Johnson had won 3 Finals MVP's by age 28. Guess he's better than both of them.
