What's your weapon of choice for home defense? I use an Ithaca 10 ga loaded with 00 buck

Though I want to rig a 10 ft cannon behind my front door. Load it with a 12 lb ball and have it setup to where if the door is opened or kicked in, it goes off. It may be so loud it wakes up the neighborhood and blows out my windows, but it'll do the job

In all seriousness, given the difficulty of creating such a rig, one cannot go wrong with a basic Glock .40

IWI Tavor with 55-grain ballistic tips. Mrs. Tantal stays in the bedroom with the Glock 19 and calls the cops.

Tavor's are nice. I would like to have an L85A2

What if someone is beating on your door non stop and you go blasting away at them through the door with a saiga 12 gauge loaded with a 20 round drum?

I know if you hear a lawyer say he'll take the case, then it's not a good idea for home defense. But man I'm glad to live in one of the safest cities in the US

Spas 12 in the bedroom
A shotgun I wouldn't want Tantal measuring clipped under shelf in the laundry room.
A .44 mag Derringer hanging on the bed post as a last line of defense.

Eta: that's not all, just all I'm willing to mention.

9 mm in bathroom drawer
.40 on nightstand and 12 ga by closet door
.45 in kitchen cabinet
.44 in computer desk drawer
.357 in other bathroom
.38 living room side table

Or just a good vicious indoor dog

Ya never know what room you'll be in when you're gonna need something.

Beretta 92-FS. Plenty of stopping power and the wife can use it when I'm out of town. At first she didn't like having a gun in the house but now it makes her feel safer when I'm not there.

I want to get a 4" .500 Smith&Wesson loaded with 400 grain platinum xtp rounds for a living room gun, and 2 Glock .45s in a kitchen drawer

I am going to contact a machinist and gun smith about building me a 2 gauge shotgun. The shells will be made of brass and each load will contain 28 .50 cal pellets. It will be a heavy single shot gun, but it will do enormous damage

Judge in the nightstand, Springfield XD-9 on my dresser, Remington 870 in my closet, AR-15 in the hallway closet.

My wife has a Springfield XDS-9 in her nightstand, and a Glock 21 on her dresser.

I've got a remy 870 with 00 buck in the closet and a Glock 19 with +P hollow points in the nightstand. On the Christmas list for myself is a S&W 686 that will most likely replace the Glock in the nightstand

Just one of my work guns. Sig .40

Normally doesn't leave the briefcase in the kitchen.

I hate guns though, so even my duck gun is in a vault in the back garage.

Yep I know. I plan on spending $20k in damages, because this load will do massive damage

My second type of load besides the 28 .50 cal pellets is my own pirhanna load. It will be full of razor blades of many shapes and tacks. And lastly, the one I call the "ball" round

It will be a 2 inch wide, 1.5 lb ball of lead fired at 900 fps
