Holy shite move on from the riots and STFU about Missouri already. Missouri is fine in my book. They have the Chiefs, Cardinals, Royals, some decent BBQ, Anheuser Busch and some pretty hot girls. They have a good basketball tradition that will be much improved this year and they even are starting to play some decent baseball. They also managed to get two SEC East titles before the riots which is more than Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss, MSU and South Carolina all have. St. Louis Cardinals and Budweiser beer are as iconic American as it gets. One of the 5 greatest MLB franchises in the country is now in SEC territory. Quit looking at some stupid riots that the University of Missouri had no clue was coming and start looking at all the great things that state offers.

Can we just keep the fricking politics off the fricking Rant, for chrissakes? Some guy gets pissy about the NFL kneeling thing, he has to rush to the Rant to post an OT post. Some guy reads some innuendo-laden article on a conservative website and has to race to the Rant to post the damned thing. And I'm sure some other poster is rubbing his hands together and cackling with glee as he contemplates pushing his own issues onto the Rant as soon as he can figure out how to spell all the words. Do you people have any ability to separate your hurt feelings from the subject of SEC sports? Good God Almighty, you have me fricking defending the Missouri posters here, and that's not okay.

we have seen several articles over the last year that cast UGA in a bad light
the protests at Mizzou DID get out of hand; mostly because they offered up a weak response - I doubt that happens again
anyway - has ZERO to do with decline in football - that happened because of a bad hire
Mizzou will get back to being competitive in football; they just need to get a decent coach

The situation with Missouri and the entire SJW issue can be summed up in the often quoted meme: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. This entire debacle is all about liberal progressives trying to transform America into their liberal progressive Utopia. We suffered through 8 years of Obama who was the most divisive and unpatriotic President in U.S. history and who openly admitted his mission to transform America. What we are seeing is simply a growth of the seeds that the Obama administration planted and continues to nurture through various big money liberals like George Soros.
