I'm not sure it's a hatred as much as it is they just don't have the filter to hide what they think like whites have learned to do in private discourse.
If I catch myself thinking something racist, I chastise myself. It's not on purpose, but at times I think it's just a natural response (us vs. them).
With Asians, they just say exactly what's on their mind, even if it's insensitive to the target person. People in China give no fricks about Negroid/Capoid rights. Really, the rights of any minority.

If that were the case, I think I'd have had more problems with them as opposed to none at all.

I know this is gonna be shocking, but most racism isn't going to be done to your face. I dated Asians in the past, and I can't think of one that didn't have a lot of racism in their family.
Even here in Mexico. And not just toward black dudes, pretty much anyone other than Asian.

Most people who have been racist have had the courtesy not to do it even with people who they're comfortable with outside of their family. I've had very racist friends who almost never did it in my presence, especially with racial epithets.
With my Asian girlfriends, they would just say the N-Word like it was nothing outside of the presence of blacks. Most whites I've known are afraid to say it even in academic settings.
It's actually quite similar here in Mexico, they have no fear from using it, and it's almost as though the word has no power whatsoever.

Meh, it's like any demographic. Some are racist, some aren't. Glad I haven't had any run-ins. The prevailing narrative is bunk, though.

I dated a Korean girl for a while. She was decent in bed, but school and studying were her #1 priority.
One day her mom just showed up from Korea... and wouldn't speak one damn word to me. Would just stare at me with her cold arse look.
Asian women are fun to date and screw, but something in them changes when they get older and they become hard and cold. At least the ones that stay in whatever Asian country they're from.
All that said, my mother in law is from Thailand, and she's hard to deal with 95% of the time. They have their ways, and what you say be damned.
