Glad the guy wasn't hurt, but looks like the shark was injured.

he just brute forced his way in to a cage, thrashed around like a great white stuck in a cage-- before escaping...yeah, pretty sure he fricked himself up a bit

dude just got out of the cage like he wasn't trapped in a 100 sq foot metal container with fricking great white shark

Heck yeah. Thankfully it was an experienced diver. Ya boy would have blacked out and fate would have decided.

I'd really like to know what he did after the shark came into the cage with him. Did he go to the bottom of the cage and cling to the bars? He sure took a long time coming up. The guys on the boat thought the cage was empty.

Would have been awesome if the shark came back and grabbed his arse off the top of the cage when he was climbing out
That would have been the experience of a lifetime..

I've always thought that shark cages didnt have enough bars. Why dont they have tighter bar spacing for just this reason?
I'd have shite myself so full...

I would have had a heart attack as soon as the shark broke through

I think it's because sharks don't usually go full force at the cage. You want to get the experience of being in the water with them but you also don't want them busting through like they did. It's a balancing act of being too closed off to them and keeping you safe.
