Well no shite, lawyer guy. I'd say it's 100% plausible he was back there banging his own head on the wall to injure himself so he could cry police brutality and sue the PD. The dumbass knocked himself out in the process, they said he was unconscious when they got there. While he was knocked out they probably took a sharp turn and because they don't buckle you in his unconscious self probably went sliding across the van head first into the wall causing the injury.

Sounds completely believable to me.

Sounds believable. But given the millions of dollars the City of Baltimore has had to pay to victims of "rough rides" in the back of their lock up vans due to the Baltimore PD repeatedly using this illegal practice... I'm going to lean on the side of I've sat in the back of a truck bed plenty of times and never slide around enough to sever my spinal cord, so I highly doubt this guy did.

I just dont care anymore

The guy had been consistently arrested multiple times a year for his entire adult life, including violent offenses. I dont care that he's dead.

Meh. We have a justice system in place, I don't think his death was warranted.

The police should be held accountable if they indeed contributed to his death. That doesn't change the fact that the world is probably better off without him in it.

I always look at it like this: At least it happened to him and not someone else. Same with Michael Brown.

If the cops did indeed commit negligent homicide, are they not worse criminals than Freddie Grey? Would you be okay if they were violently beat to death?

This is the same attitude that the police had. And that's (IMO) a big factor in his death.

You'd think these vans would have cameras in them like the squad cars do.

That would make too much sense. I'm sure after this, PDs will be installing cameras in them if they haven't already

may be true. Regardless just a reason to loot and riot all under the guise of "black lives matter."

Of course black lives matter, but why don't they matter when blacks kill other blacks?
